Brick City Vegan (Vegan – Montclair, New Jersey)

Brick City Vegan in Montclair invited me in the other day to try out their delicious food and let me tell you, I was blown away by how identical the food tasted to eating traditional food. Brick City Vegan is a vegan fast-food restaurant with quick service and satisfyingly tasty food. There was very little to no subtle difference, as you could not tell, which I found insane! Besides Montclair, Brick City Vegan also has a location in Newark.
For food, I got the ‘Black-Eye Pea Burger,’ which is a patty consisting of black-eyed peas with cheese, Urban Vegan sauce, vegan mayo, Country Ranch, Yum Yum sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. This burger was outstandingly good and super flavorful. The black beans tasted almost like a traditional beef burger, which was great. The sauces were excellent and complimented the burger so well. Everything about this was just fantastic! The ‘Black-Eye Pea Burger’ is a signature menu item here, and I highly suggest ordering that! I also got ‘Sweet Potato Fries,’ on the side, which hit the spot. They had a slight crunch on the outside and were soft and fluffy on the inside.
